Kaitlyn J Kemna Ausborn

I am an attorney committed to public service, community safety, and the fair administration of justice. Throughout my legal career, I have worked closely with law enforcement, victims, and community partners to hold offenders accountable while treating people with professionalism and respect. I believe prosecutors play and important role not only in enforcing the law, but also in supporting victims and maintaining public trust in the justice system. In addition to my legal work, I am a parent and active member of the community. Those experiences shape my understanding of the real-life impact crime and public safety issues have on families. I care deeply about protecting vulnerable individuals, supporting victims throughout difficult circumstances, and ensuring our communities remain safe places to live and raise children.

I believe effective leadership requires preparation, integrity, and sound judgment. My approach is practical and collaborative, with a focus on transparency, accountability, and doing what is right in each and every case. I am running for County Attorney because I want to continue serving the public and working to strengthen the safety and well-being of our community.
